Arable land enables the cultivation of our most important commodity - grain. Today, demand for grain and other cultivated produce is increasing, while the strain on the earth's resources and ecosystems is steadily growing. Lantmännen's mission is to develop and process the resources of the field in a responsible way. In this way, we want to contribute to production of energy and food that is sustainable in the long term.
In the cultivation stage, Lantmännen offers advice to farmers, with the development of seed, fertilizer and pesticides. In our own operations, we take responsibility for good working conditions and reduced environmental impact, and set clear standards for our suppliers to do the same. For consumers, the green sprout on our packaging is a guarantee of responsibly produced food. We are also working to spread knowledge and inspiration that promotes health and a more sustainable lifestyle.

The Lantmännen co-operative economic association consists of around 35,000 farmers. This means a wealth of industry knowledge and a natural, long-term approach.

From growing seed grain and sales of inputs to farmers, to the further processing of grain and other raw materials for food and energy products.

Lantmännen has a long history of successful research projects. New wholegrain products on the market and organically treated seeds are just two examples of results achieved.
