Would you like be part of an exciting treasury and risk function?

Group Treasury is acting as the Group's internal bank and is responsible for capital supply (ensuring liquidity reserve/managing liquidity risk) and managing currency and interest rate risk within Lantmännen. The function is responsible for implementing safe and efficient financing, cash management and payment solutions, representing the Group in contacts with banks and other financial market players, and acts to minimize Lantmännen's financial risks and costs of external funding.

Group Treasury is located at the headquarters in Stockholm, Stadshagen. The team consists of 7 people divided into Back Office (2), Cash Management, Front Office (2), Middle Office and Head of Treasury.

We are currently looking to recruit a Group Treasury Controller, to further develop Lantmännens analysis and reporting. This exciting role will deliver both operational and strategically impacts and plays a key role in further development of this function.

Your Challenge:

As Group Treasury Controller you will be responsible for the accounting and reporting for the groups financial accounting . Group accounting according to IFRS 9 and hedge accounting is seen as crucial for this assignment. Further, this role will have a strategic impact in regards of the group company’s financial revenues, costs and follow-ups on the financial risks concerning the company. 

The main responsibilities can be summarized in the following points:

  • Responsible for treasury accounting according to K3 for the legal entity Lantmännen Ek För.
  • Converting K3 to IFRS through spreadsheets for the group (group accounting) plus arranging documentation for the hedge accounting for Treasury transactions, commodity trading and Energy trading.
  • The responsibility and the analysis of the financial net on the group and entity level. Close communication with group accounting and accounting departments at divisions and entity levels.
  • Updating the group financial risk policies, follow regulatory changes and perform education within the company on relevant topics
  • Risk Control, monitoring and reporting of the group trading activities such as derivatives, FX, stocks, interest and funding/dept. Monitor that these activities follows given limits and policies.
  • Analysis of net interest, transaction exposures and global currency effects in regards of merges and acquisitions

Background:

We believe a successful candidate holds a relevant education in preferably finance, business or accounting. Extensive knowledge and practical experience from financial accounting, reporting and IFRS9 is seen as key, preferably from other financial environment such as treasury in a large international corporate, bank or consultancy firm.

As a person you need to be analytical and structured, that enjoys working with presentations on a high level. We appreciate a forthcoming approach that is constantly improving the work around them. Further, we value the ability to communicate on all levels within the organisation and you need to be fluent in both Swedish and English.
