As part of establishing our end-to-end Planning foundation and supporting the S&OP journey, we are looking for a Demand Planning Manager who will lead and develop the demand planning team. In addition, take ownership and with great dedication, drive needed change to establish ONE aligned demand view within Lantmännen Cerealia.

About the position:

As Demand Planning Manager, you are responsible for the forecasting process where you are working collaboratively with stakeholders across the functions of Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Innovation. This role is key for ensuring that our business through the S&OP process is holding the right production capacity and inventory to secure customer service and cost control. You will focus on enabling the organization in assuring accurate volume sign-offs, on the journey towards integrated business planning.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the effectiveness of the demand planning process towards Sales and Marketing and Finance, to ensure accurate long-term volume sign-offs and that output is consistently applied in all related areas. The volume accuracy, influences accuracy of supply and financial planning
  • Own the country/segment demand review meetings within the S&OP monthly cycle, where you build trust and commitment with key stakeholders
  • Coach, empower and evaluate performance of 3 direct reports towards continues improvements and goals
  • Identify and develop improvement opportunities in current process, including tools and methodologies. Purpose to improve forecast accuracy, service level and reduction of waste


Knowledge, skills & experience required:

  • Extensive demand planning experience, ideally from a FMCG business
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities
  • Strong analytical focus and ability to leverage information to support needed decisions
  • Great understanding of commercial and financial concepts
  • Thorough understanding of the Supply Chain process and the impact on the business
  • Advanced Excel and/or BI skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data
  • Familiar with IT tools (Movex, SO99+, Microsoft Office)
  • Excellent spoken and written Swedish, English and other Nordic languages is a plus
  • Academic degree or similar experiences
  • Change management skills are an advantage

The position can be located at our office in Stockholm or Malmö. Some travelling will occur, primarily to our other offices and facilities in within the Nordic countries, approximately 4-6 days per month. You will report to Head of Sales & Operation Planning.
